Technology is as ubiquitous and user-friendly as it’s ever been.
Back in the day, only the most skilled of people could put up a website and social media wasn’t even around. That skill, like people who design websites today — not to mention help run social media accounts — is still worth good money, but a lower-priced option can just reflect how prevalent it has all become.
The thing about the written word is, you can plainly see it.
If you’re having a verbal conversation with someone, they aren’t seeing the spelling, grammar or structure of what you’re saying; none of it really matters in that case. When something is being read, however, that something is both seen and judged.
Knowledge is power, and always will be.
The thing about knowledge when it comes to promotion, though, is it still has to be executed well. Having the skills is obviously key, but if what you’re doing is missing the mark because your target audience can’t quite relate, you’re hurting yourself.
